Scholarship: Amount

This scholarship program represents a substantial investment of love. The Foundation will provide a scholarship for students of Tongren University who demonstrate their desire and qualifications. The cost of one year is approximately $600 USD (4800 RMB - 2005). The government will provide financial aid to needy students in the first year, thus the Foundation does not provide for first year college students. Education is the only way that allows students to break free of the cycle of poverty and subsistence farming that their families have endured for generations. The recipients of this scholarship are often the first in their families to receive college diplomas.
